What is Alabama Known for?

Alabama is a state in the southeast region of the United States of America. This Deep South state borders Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, and Tennessee. 

According to National Geographic, roughly 70% of Alabama is covered in forests.

The capital of Alabama is Montgomery. Montgomery, Alabama was also the first Confederate capital during the Civil War which is why the state is sometimes referred to as the ‘Heart of Dixie.’
