First up is Stone Creek, and it’s ranked as one of the best places to live in Gilbert. It is located within E Guadalupe Rd and N Val Vista Drive. It falls into the district of the Gilbert Unified School District and is next to the largest park in Gilbert. As such, it’s ideal for families with children, and there is a freeway within easy access of the neighborhood.
Seville is a luxurious neighborhood in S Recker Rd and E Happy Rd. It is near the Seville Country Club, which has a marvelous golf course and an Olympic-size swimming pool. Seville is still an excellent choice for married couples and families with children.
Finley Farms is located on the east side of Gilbert, and it has large multiple bedroom homes perfect for its family-oriented atmosphere. Finley Farms elementary school is right within the community.

Val Vista Lakes is a lovely waterfront neighborhood, and it is spacious enough to have multiple subdivisions. Val Vista Lakes also has a clubhouse and easy access to the multiple nature trails along with access to the water and views.
What is Gilbert, AZ, known for?
Gilbert is known as the “Hay Capital of the World” due to its farming and agriculture roots. The town was named after the man who owned the property of the original rail line that traveled through Phoenix and Florence. It was a major agriculture town until the late 1920s. In the 1970s, Gilbert acquired a 53 square mile tract of land to grow the community on and develop like the neighboring suburbs were beginning to do.
Gilbert has a thoroughly supported Historical Society with events spanning monthly. Downtown Gilbert is also known as the “Heritage District”, and has a collection of over 30 restaurants and diverse and eclectic shopping centers.
