These four hotels not only offer comfortable, convenient accommodations, but they allow visitors to step back in time, if only for a few days.

Historic

Fort Worth is full of history, and no place is that more evident than the Fort Worth Stockyards. Staying at one of these historic hotels puts guests just steps away from cobblestone streets, cattle drives, nightly rodeos, shopping and fine dining.

Hotel Drover is the newest — and much-anticipated — hotel in the Stockyards. It is named for the men who drove cattle up the Chisholm Trail through Fort Worth, their last stop on the way and their first oasis on their journey home.

It is an Autograph Collection hotel, a distinction given by the Marriott Bonvoy brand that distinguishes the hotel’s unique Western décor and historic atmosphere.

The Hotel Drover offers rooms and larger suites. Guests can tailor their experiences with custom packages designed for business or pleasure. The hotel is a new favorite for events in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyard, with a 40,000 square foot event space (indoor and outdoor).

Other times, guests can enjoy outdoor activities in “The Backyard,” the hotel’s private property complete with fire pits, lawn games, a pool and cabana, live entertainment and an outdoor bar.

For more formal settings, enjoy 97 West Kitchen & Bar, the hotel’s restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as weekend brunch. Enjoy “elevated ranch classics” and American comfort foods with a twist. As a special touch, the bar offers beer and liquor from local providers.

In 2021, Hotel Drover was a finalist for the Stella Award for Best Boutique Hotel in the Southwest as well as Best Hotel/Resort Event Space in the Southwest, proving this boutique hotel was worth the wait.
