What is  Oklahoma City Famous for?

Oklahoma City is situated in the south central part of the United States of America; as the capital of the state of Oklahoma which lies between Kansas and Texas.

Oklahoma City is about 400 square miles with a population of 649,410 people. Based on its population it is ranked as the 25th largest city in the US.

Oklahoma City National Memorial

On 19th April, 1995 the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building was bombed, killing 168 people. The mayor back then put together a 350 member task force including the family members of the victims, survivors and volunteers to plan and develop the memorial dedicated to the victims which still stands to this day.

Bricktown

Bricktown is a successful urban renewal project that turned the old red brick warehouses in the city into the perfect tourist attraction.

Myriad Botanical Gardens

15 acres of nature and serenity, perfect for long walks and picnics; filled with fountains, playgrounds, flowerbeds and horticultural displays. The gardens are a must to visit for tourists.
