Its location puts you close to most of what you’ll want to do in this city. It was opened in 1910 and is now one of the most well-known hotels in the Gaslamp Quarter.

Your stay will be chocked full of luxury. The rooms are sophisticated, yet still comfortable. The beds include pillowtop mattresses and 350-thread count linens. All rooms are decorated with hand-picked art pieces and upgraded finishes. While the hotel has been restored, many of its original architectural details are still there.

The hotel is surrounded by golf courses, beaches, and restaurants. It may also be surrounded by ghosts. Rumors have it that the Grande Colonial Hotel is haunted, along with the village of La Jolla. Stories of phone calls coming from unoccupied rooms, a couple dressed to the nines in the hallway, and a spirit that might be Groucho Marx hiding in the curtains all float around this hotel.
